When did you first start to sing?

I started singing in front of big groups when I was 8 years old, but I've been singing since I was 2.

Do you have any formal singing training?

Yes.

What other talents do you have?

I play the piano and the guitar. I'm learning the drums. I am also a songwriter.

If you don't make it on AMERICAN IDOL, what will you do?

I will start college and continue to pursue my singing career.

What are your personal goals in life?

To be an entertainer, have a family, and be happy.

What album would your friends be surprised you own?

Don McLean - American Pie.

Who is your AMERICAN IDOL?

My parents.

Do you have any rituals or things you do each time you perform?

I don't eat, I say a prayer, and I kiss a special necklace.

Most embarassing moments?

I peed my pants in the first grade while waiting in line at day care. I didn't want to be rude and cut in line.

What has been your proudest moment in life so far?

When I won Homecoming Queen in school because I didn't have to audition.

If you couldn't sing, which talent would you most like to have?

I would love to ice skate.

What is your definition of an AMERICAN IDOL?

Someone who has something special to offer and who presents themselves in a respectable manner.

Who is your favorite judge and why?

Sorry, I just can't say. I love them all. They each bring something different to the competition.

What would people be surprised to learn about you?

I absolutely love rock music.

How has this changed your life?

This has just been an amazing experience.

Do you have any lucky charms?

Yes. The hairband I used for my first audition in Denver, and a necklace my boyfriend gave me.

Who are your heroes in life?

My parents are my heroes.

What's been your toughest obstacle in life?

My toughest obstacle is to enjoy my youth while I'm still young.

Yes.

I will thank my parents and family.
