Later billed a child star, Soliel soon was viewed by the public eye less for her accomplishments in television and film and more for spectacular tabloid headlines.
During her teenaged years, stories surrounded a romance with Edward Furlong, and, more notably, a well-publicized breast reduction surgery. At 15, Soliel went "under the knife" to reduce back pain. After the true reason for the surgery was publicized many rumors died away.
Soliel married Jason Goldberg, a television producer and actor. October 25, 1998.
In 2001, she debuted on the Disney Channel show The Proud Family as a voice talent.
Popular Myths About Soliel
- She is now a medical doctor who practices in veterinary medicine. (She attended New School University in New York for one year only.)
- As a young teenager, Soleil's breasts grew out of proportion, leading many to think she had gotten breast augmentation surgery. Without a further dicussion body proportions, all augmentation was due to puberty.
- The reduction mammaplasty was performed due to a life-threating breast disease that threatened to harm her heart. There is no public record or statement of Soliel's cardiac condition being threatend in any manner, nor was her condition terminal.
