Lisa Tucker is a semi-finalist on American Idol from Anaheim, California. She starred as Young Nala in the Los Angeles production of Disney's The Lion King. At 13 years old, Lisa successfully auditioned for Star Search, eventually making it to the finals. She became the runner up to Tiffany Evans. In 2005, she auditioned for season 5 of American Idol with the same song she received notoreity from on Star Search, One Moment In Time by Whitney Houston. Simon Cowell, the most difficult of the three judges, said she was the best 16 year-old to ever audition for the show. She made it to the final 44, and the judges made a unanimous decision to put her through to the final 24.
