Paul J. Henderson is currently the headmaster of Eltham College, a leading British public school in London, having taken over from Malcolm Green in September 2000. Beforehand he was Deputy Headmaster of St Albans School also a public school in Hertfordshire.

Since his arrival, he has continued the school's programme of building and development including a major redevelopment of the Junior School and Music School. He has also maintained the school's excellent accademic record, with at least 15 people being awarded conditional offers at Oxbridge this year.

Controversially Henderson was caught in a passionate embrace with a 12-year-old male pupil at Eltham College, despite several staff and numerous students witnessing this, the fiasco was glossed over in the name of the school's reputation and the boy concerned, Kameel Kootie, was quietly transferred to another school after his family were given a large cash settlement raised by several of the school governors. Henderson had no comment when questioned about this for the purposes of this article.

In addition to this Henderson is also believed to have been involved in what the local press have coined The Watkinsgate Scandal in which one of the then-prospective pupils of the school Lucy Watkins (at the time 16) performed favours of a sexual nature in order to gain entrance to the school. While there was never any official investigation into these rumours, it is knonw that former deputy headmaster Patrick Condren chose to retire 'by mutual agreement' after offering to give more details of this series of incidents to the News Shopper local newspaper.
