Justine Thornton (born 1970) is a barrister and former child actress known for her appearances in Dramarama (TV series) and Hardwicke House.
Career
Shortly before starting at university, she acted in the long-running children’s show Dramarama, alongside Wil Johnson.
Thornton also starred as Erica, the rebellious schoolgirl in the hour-long pilot episode called The Visit in Hardwicke House, a controversial ITV sitcom that was later pulled from the schedules in 1987 following a backlash over its content.
Following her acting career, Thornton read Law at Cambridge University, and was called to the Bar in 1994.
She went on to specialise in environmental law. Last year’s Legal 500, the lawyers’ directory, simply called her “first class”.
