Deletion of Haroon ur Rasheed / reverted Model Town Humak page

There was no Misplaced Pages article on a famous Pakistani columnist Haroon ur Rasheed, so I thought to take this initiative and created a page for him. But you deleted that page within few minutes. Yes, it was just created and at that time 'article had no meaningful, substantive content', but you did not let others to contribute!

Dear PMDrive1061, you also reverted my edits in Model Town Humak. Now, I am very curious about your explanation. I am native of this town, yet you reverted my edits. You have even reverted a spelling correction of word 'gazette' by me, it was spelled 'gazzette'. Please explain.

I would appreciate if you could reconsider your actions in aforementioned regard.

Thanks Chjohnny (talk)

Chasing the Sky Deletion

So I've been trying to create a page about a local band I've been following, which you've deleted. This band is pretty important in our community and have been involved in a lot of philanthropic causes since their existence. I've cited sources including our local press, several music magazines, and an emmy award winning radio host's show (on which he's praised this band many times). Any reason for the deletion?

Chuck's Pit Rats

Hi PMDrive1061, The Chuck's Pit Rats article could be considered unique in it's standing, as it features a number of current and former NHL coaches and players, all within the same family (Leach).

Would it be acceptable to reoprn it with the sentance: 'This team is unique because it showcases a New England family with extensive ties to hockey and the NHL'  ?

Merry Christmas!

And behold, he shall be born of Mary, at Jerusalem which is the land of our forefathers, she being a virgin, a precious and chosen vessel, who shall be overshadowed and conceive by the power of the Holy Ghost, and bring forth a son, yea, even the Son of God.

Why retirement?

Hey common I know you are not that old! ~rAGU (talk)

Apparently the wikipedia administrators' pension plan isn't as lucrative as we thought. Welcome back! DMacks (talk) 19:28, 6 April 2011 (UTC)
Welcome back! Don't worry about that vandal we both are hated by. He won't be around for quite a long time. And we can always extend some blocks. :) --Bsadowski1 19:34, 6 April 2011 (UTC)

Welcome back buddy! Glad you've returned, even if it is "inactively" :) --McDoobAU93 19:40, 6 April 2011 (UTC)

Welcome Back, Dude! Good to have ya back. :) - NeutralhomerTalk21:57, 6 April 2011 (UTC)

Wendy Starling

You retired and left a page fully protected without any real good reason- all the vandalism was coming from IP's. Your action was not in line with protection policy or common practice, and I reverted your administrative action as necessary. You have returned and abused your administrative powers twice- whatever you want to call this edit, vandalism is one description that will not fly. Second, you have reverted a reverted administrative action with exactly zero vandalism in between the two actions- the very technical definition of a wheel war. At best, you are locking pages from other non-admin editors out of a real desire to protect the subject from the junk the IP's were putting in. At worse, you are using your administrative powers to control the content of an article. Either way, this is not the proper use of your admin tools- please revert your last change in the page's protection level. Courcelles 03:19, 7 April 2011 (UTC)

-Answered on your talk page. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 03:52, 7 April 2011 (UTC)

Would you mind if I set the semi-protection and PC2 back to infinite, so in case you're not here, I don't have to remember to reapply it again in six months? (And, yes, I am actively monitoring the article for the garbage edits.) OTRS will help, though honestly a few active eyes are all that really appear to be needed; waiting four days and ten edits is enough of a hurdle to stop most nonsense, and I'm perfectly willing to drop the hammer on anyone that does jump it and make a mess. Sorry I came on a little too strong- my wording was a little too far above. Courcelles 04:27, 7 April 2011 (UTC)
Okay, extended to indefinite semi and PC2. That'll keep the people who wish ill for Ms. Starling away. Courcelles 10:32, 7 April 2011 (UTC)
