Deletion of Haroon ur Rasheed / reverted Model Town Humak page

There was no Misplaced Pages article on a famous Pakistani columnist Haroon ur Rasheed, so I thought to take this initiative and created a page for him. But you deleted that page within few minutes. Yes, it was just created and at that time 'article had no meaningful, substantive content', but you did not let others to contribute!

Dear PMDrive1061, you also reverted my edits in Model Town Humak. Now, I am very curious about your explanation. I am native of this town, yet you reverted my edits. You have even reverted a spelling correction of word 'gazette' by me, it was spelled 'gazzette'. Please explain.

I would appreciate if you could reconsider your actions in aforementioned regard.

Thanks Chjohnny (talk)

Chasing the Sky Deletion

So I've been trying to create a page about a local band I've been following, which you've deleted. This band is pretty important in our community and have been involved in a lot of philanthropic causes since their existence. I've cited sources including our local press, several music magazines, and an emmy award winning radio host's show (on which he's praised this band many times). Any reason for the deletion?

Chuck's Pit Rats

Hi PMDrive1061, The Chuck's Pit Rats article could be considered unique in it's standing, as it features a number of current and former NHL coaches and players, all within the same family (Leach).

Would it be acceptable to reoprn it with the sentance: 'This team is unique because it showcases a New England family with extensive ties to hockey and the NHL'  ?

Merry Christmas!

And behold, he shall be born of Mary, at Jerusalem which is the land of our forefathers, she being a virgin, a precious and chosen vessel, who shall be overshadowed and conceive by the power of the Holy Ghost, and bring forth a son, yea, even the Son of God.
— (Alma 7:10)

Deletion of prominant citizen entry for Notable Persons from our community in Larry C. Glasscock CEO of Wellpoint.

5-5-2011

Hello from cullman. I made a page for the CEO/chairman of wellpoint in Larry C. Glasscock to add a link and information from Notable Persons from Cullman, which he is, considering our community size. I would appreciate if you could give me the reason for the deletion, maybe being that it didn't have enough content? I assumed someone looking at the cullman page and seeing his name might be satisfied with just knowing his contributions in the business field for which I provided a link to. We do not have the clout of bigger communities but being at the top level of a fortune 500 company is more than enough to be notable for us.

Please let me know how I can get the page back.

Sincerely, Greg Glasscock "crimsontider"

Missed block

Just saw this on AIV: block message but not blocked - Something went awry. —DoRD (talk) 22:52, 3 June 2011 (UTC)

Block

Hi. You have placed a block template on the talk page here, but no block has actually been applied. Thanks. --Diannaa 22:53, 3 June 2011 (UTC)

Hey, I'm the one that's supposed to be redundant. ;) (look up) —DoRD (talk) 22:57, 3 June 2011 (UTC)
LOL! Thank you, O Redundant One. Weird thingz going on with the interwebz here at work. We have a partially blown router which is doing everything from freezing pages to generating false virus reports. PMDrive1061 (talk) 23:01, 3 June 2011 (UTC)

Tasmanian Alkaloids

um PMDrive1061, stuffed if I can see where the bot thinks I copied the text in this from. I've looked at the tasalk.com.au website again and can't find any text on the website that matches any of the text I used in my, self-written, article. I'm not convinced you looked at the website the bot referenced. From what I can see on the linked duplicator report there is no significant match at all - just a bot error. Can you please look again thanks - Peripitus (Talk) 06:59, 4 June 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for that - the bots are right far more often than not but the occasional logic error is to be expected - Peripitus (Talk) 04:03, 5 June 2011 (UTC)

Chandigarh Capital Region

If we can decide the fate of Talk:Chandigarh Capital Region, then we can pretty much wrap up User:Anna Frodesiak/Silver sandbox. There remains one or two non-Chandigarh Capital Region-related items there, but if we can sort out the CCR ones, then we can paste silver into a collapsebox at M's talk, and move on from this tragedy. Best wishes to all. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 00:26, 6 June 2011 (UTC)

amusing timing

Special:Undelete/Mike Cioffi. tedder (talk) 23:33, 6 June 2011 (UTC)

LOL! I wish people like that would actually channel that energy into something useful instead of something so woefully unfunny. PMDrive1061 (talk) 23:37, 6 June 2011 (UTC)

Indeed. I have a backlog of things they could help with. I would have had the CSD up sooner but I was waffling between A7 and G3. tedder (talk) 23:41, 6 June 2011 (UTC)
..not to mention the vigorous discussions of Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/Visible penis line and Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/Moose knuckle. tedder (talk) 23:42, 6 June 2011 (UTC)

Oh, marone, what a mess. :P PMDrive1061 (talk) 23:46, 6 June 2011 (UTC)

Deletion of Sherman3D

Please note that the article on Sherman3D does not infringe on any copyright. The warning about the summary from LinkedIn is generic in nature and is part of the company's description in LinkedIn which should be public domain. Please verify and undelete. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alphakimori (talkcontribs) 00:19, 7 June 2011 (UTC)

Content is clearly copied from this page which has an unambiguous copyright notice at the bottom. No, we cannot host this content here; to do so would be to break the law. (PDDrive pardon me for butting in -- I just happened to see this on my watchlist.) Alphakimori, you must write in your own words and beware of the conflict of interest guidelines.
