Sudheendra Kulkarni is an Indian politician and columnist. He is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, earning a B. Tech in Civil Engineering in 1982. He began his political career as a full time activist for the Communist Party of India (Marxist). He became a member of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)) in 1996, having been for some years Executive Editor of Blitz, a left-wing newspaper which he is credited with transforming into a BJP-oriented publication. He has been associated with such initiatives as Delhi–Lahore Bus and India Shining. He has helped former Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee write his speeches. A 2008 Outlook article describes him as a strategy man for Lal Krishna Advani.

Kulkarni resigned from the BJP in 2009.
