Thank you thank you thank you to you too!!! Well done. I guess this ends the six-year "Battle of the Images". As far as the anti-China stuff in the bio is concerned, of course it would be better gone, but it's way down there, and not glaring. Personally, if it were me, I would have a picture of otters holding hands. But then, I don't undersand the whole gangster thing. That's worlds apart from me. I always thought it was something people wanted to escape, not embrace, to leave behind, not bring with. And, Misplaced Pages being the kind of place where you can bring anything you want, why bring it? But, to each his own.
If they still want to MfD your whole page, that's nothing I want anything to do with. They're probably cursing me out over there because I've reset the whole thing, and they were close to zapping it by force. But, I figure, this way Jiang's image is gone, and yours went by your own hand. I'm guessing that will mean no more fighting in the future, so ultimately fewer keystrokes landing on the back pages.
Anyway, for my part, I'm done here. Thanks for doing your part in ending the image war. I hope the road up ahead is smooth for you. Stay out of trouble, or everyone will figure it wasn't Jiang's image after all, and peg ya for an incorrigible sort. Best wishes, my friend. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 20:53, 10 December 2011 (UTC)
- I appreciate your input Anna. I would also greatly appreciate if you could change your position on the mfd to either keep or neutral. It seems obvious that despite Bishonen and your best effort to reach a compromise and past precedents that allow me to keep my userpage Misplaced Pages:Administrators'_noticeboard/IncidentArchive356#Certified.Gangsta.27s_user_page Misplaced Pages:Administrators%27_noticeboard/IncidentArchive354#Racism_in_user_page]] Misplaced Pages:Administrators'_noticeboard/IncidentArchive355#New_messages_bar, the lynch mob wants me out of this project and are disgracefully trying to sneak this Mfd through when all the people who support it are the "arbcom voter guide" writers. Does the community want me out of the project? Probably not. But it is obvious that a clique does. It's a concerted effort to boot me off the project. They don't want a compromise.--NWA.Rep (talk) 02:05, 11 December 2011 (UTC)
- I just struck the "delete", and entered an "abstain". I figured that "neutral" is sort of an opinion, and I did say "...that's nothing I want anything to do with...". So, I'd better live up to my words. :) I'm sorry that I left the "delete" there so long. I'd forgotten that I'd done it.
- If you ever want to abandon the wild life of Arbcom, and the hotter areas of Misplaced Pages, just trade in your user page for a couple of otters holding hands, and join me on the other side of Misplaced Pages. We could work on some beautiful articles together. It sure is lovely and quiet where I dwell. Best wishes to you. :) Anna Frodesiak (talk) 05:13, 11 December 2011 (UTC)
- OK, reality check here: people hated your user page 18 months ago. (i.e. the last time I was active.) They hated your user page the year before that, and the year before that. Your user page has been a consistent cause of drama going back a third the lifetime of the project, at least. The reason the people who you're getting into arguments with are always the same ones lobbying to delete your user page isn't because they have some vendetta against you, it's because those are the people who've recently been introduced to your obnoxious user page. The user page is the problem, it's always been the problem, and if you weren't so incredibly stubborn about keeping the nuisance about you would probably experience a lot less friction in other areas. --erachima talk 00:00, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
- Some people hated it. Some people were not bothered by it. The lynch mob (insiders, voters guide writers, establishment) coordinated behind the scene to push this Mfd through is despicable. Past precedents have continually established that I have the right to keep my userpage. The purpose of the mfd is nothing other than harassment and a concerted deliberate attempt to drive me off the project. Many Wikipedians have find it funny that individuals with an inferiority complex such as David Levy, Mercury, and the candidate guide writers hate my userpage yet insisted on staring at it Misplaced Pages:Administrators'_noticeboard/IncidentArchive355#New_messages_bar (note that some respected Wikipedians even rightfully called Mercury's attempt as harassment). During past harassment campaigns from these individuals and others from WikiProject:China, many established editors have helped me revert these userspace harassment (the evidence is now gone as the page is deleted). Given numerous past discussions Misplaced Pages:Administrators'_noticeboard/IncidentArchive356#Certified.Gangsta.27s_user_page Wikipedia_talk:User_pages/UI_spoofing (now chronicled in WP:LAME and some even called for David Levy's desysopping) Misplaced Pages:Administrators'_noticeboard/IncidentArchive354#Racism_in_user_page and a previous Mfd Misplaced Pages:Miscellany for deletion/User:Certified.Gangsta that resulted in speedy keep which involved a significantly larger chunk of community participation than this lil sneaky mfd, the precedent was already established that I should be able to keep my userpage as it is. Anyone who couldn't see the latest attempt as a concerted effort to drive me out of the project orchestrated by the voter guide writers is clearly blind or biased. This sneaky mfd is clearly a direct retaliation to my call for change and revolution on Misplaced Pages against the corrupt establishment rogue admins and admin abuse.--NWA.Rep (talk) 02:48, 12 December 2011 (UTC)

Making an article together
Hello my friend. Now, even though I'm dumb as dirt, I'm sometimes wise. This stress is not good for your health. I know darn well that you've spent ages being furious over all this. Misplaced Pages is like rushing water. You can subtly direct it here and there, but it'll knock you down if you try to stop its flow. You spend all your time in the rapids, when really it's about a massive body of quiet water. (Sorry about the clumsy metaphors. I'm trying to practice.) For the good of yourself, and the project, I would like to meet you at Misplaced Pages:Requested articles/Images, a page I started. Let's pick one and make it together. We can do a couple of sections each. Get out of the hustle and bustle of the city, get to the countryside, get your hands into the earth, and let's grow something. We're all here to built an encyclopedia, right? If you don't want to, then please explain why. Best wishes, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 00:05, 13 December 2011 (UTC)
