The Irish Institute of Pensions Managers (IIPM) provides nationally recognized professional certifications in the field of pensions management based out of Dublin in Ireland. It was founded in the year 1990 as a limited liability company as a sister organization to Pensions Management Institute in the United Kingdom. The Office of the Pension Ombudsman in Ireland mentions IIPM's primary objective is "to promote professionalism amongst those working in the filed of pensions, with a particular emphasis on education." The current President of IIPM is Pauline Killeen.

According to the institute, it offers programs under two streams:

  • International programs
  • Programs under the School of Business and Economy

According to the institute, its programs, under the above mentioned two streams, are as follows –

  • A 2-year full time Postgraduate Programme in Planning and Entrepreneurship
  • A 3-year full-time Undergraduate Programme in Planning and Entrepreneurship
  • A 1-year full time Postgraduate Programme in Planning and Entrepreneurship (open only for working executives with at least two years of past work experience)
  • Fellowship programme, open for post-graduates.

Certification

Under the first three streams mentioned above, the institute offers certificate courses aimed at making students eligible for degree courses like MBA and BBA.
