He wrote "Trains Up in the Sky", "Again and Again" and "Jesus It's You" songs for Mylon LeFevre and Broken Heart which all went number #1 along with many others hits for himself, "Rejoice" "Is it Right" "Bethlehem" all going top 5 on radio. He wrote "Mighty Spirit" for Larnell Harris, which was chosen by President George H. Bush to be the theme song for the "Points of light" campaign. It is the longest running PSA in the history of television. His sons (Solomon, Joshua and Jacob) are in the popular pop band called "Family Force 5".
Jerome spent his early music career playing the club scene in Atlanta in the mid 80's where he was a local favorite (playing with the Jerome Olds Band that later became Tom Grose and the Varsity. In addition to his performance career, he also ran a recording studio "Southern Living at it's finest" in Atlanta with bassist and producer Ricky Keller.
March 9th 1987, Jerome fell in love with the Christians God and committed his life to Christ and began to pursue a career exclusively in Christian music. He was soon signed to Star Song records and produced his first Christian CD.
