Yash Chopra's Untitled Project is an upcoming romantic drama directed by Yash Chopra. The film is written and produced by Aditya Chopra under their banner Yash Raj Films. It stars Shahrukh Khan and Katrina Kaif in their first film together as well as Anushka Sharma, who shares screen with Khan for the second time after their film together, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. The film is believed to be a love triangle. It also marks the return of Yash Chopra as a director after a gap of 7 years, his last film being Veer-Zaara. The soundtrack will be composed by A. R. Rahman, who will be working with Yash Chopra for the first time in his career.

Development
In June 2011, Yash Raj Films released an official statement which announced the new Yash Chopra directorial venture starring Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. The event would coincide with the 50th anniversary of Chopra's career in Bollywood. The producers also annoucened that flim will release in the Diwali weekend of 2012. According to Chopra, the film was planned to and half years back, but he did not want Khan to shoot for any film other than his. In an interview with The Telegraph he said, "My film is an emotional film. It is not comedy, action, escapism ... it is not that. It is an emotional film. This is not an action film, not a thrilling film. This is what we call an internal film. There are only three characters their emotions, happiness, sadness." In the same interview, he stated that the film was untitled as of yet, similar to his previous film Veer-Zaara which was named on the day of its submission to the Central Board of Film Certification.
Casting and filming
Initially, the film was supposed to go on floors in November 2011. However, it was postponed to January 2012 since Khan decided to take a break with his family after the release of his two films Ra.One and Don 2. Filming began on 9 January 2012.
Soundtrack
The soundtrack for the film will be composed by A. R. Rahman, who will be working with Yash Chopra for the first time in his career while lyrics are penned by Gulzar. The first song of the film was completed in December 2011.
