Snooker world ranking points 2010/2011: The official world ranking points for the 96 professional snooker players in the 2010/2011 season are listed below. The total points from the 2008/2009 and 2009/2010 seasons were used to determine the rankings at the start of 2010/2011 season. The rankings will be officially updated at three points during season. The total points accumulated by the cut-off dates for the updates will comprise of all the points from the current season, all of the points from the 2009/2010 season, and the points that are still valid from the 2008/2009 season. The total points from the 2009/2010 and 2010/2011 seasons will be used to determine the rankings at the start of the 2011/2012 season.

The first rankings update will take place after the second Euro Players Tour Championship event which is scheduled to take place from 1 October 2010 until 3 October 2010. The updated ranking list will be determined by the total number of points accumulated by the first cut-off date. Points accumulated in the Northern Ireland Trophy, Shanghai Masters and Grand Prix from the 2008/2009 season will be dropped.

Notes

  • The 2008/2009 points only include the points from that season that will count towards the next ranking update.
  • Up to and including Euro Players Tour Championship 2010/2011 – Event 2.
  • John Higgins is banned from all WSA tournaments from 2 May 2010 until 2 November 2010. For the duration of the ban he has been replaced by Liu Song on the Main Tour.
