She has played the character Cecilia on the television show 7th Heaven since 2002. She also has an album called Autobiography due for release on July 20, 2004; her first single is "Pieces of Me". She is also the subject of a reality show on MTV, The Ashlee Simpson Show, which debuted on June 16, 2004 and deals with the process of creating the album.
