Harry Edward Styles (born 1 February 1994) is an English singer-songwriter. He is known for being a member of British-Irish boyband One Direction and briefly dating Caroline Flack.
Biography
Early life
Harry Styles, born on 1 February 1994, is from Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, UK and was a pupil at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, a state comprehensive school. Styles was the lead singer for the band White Eskimo with lead guitarist Haydn Morris, bass guitarist Nick Clough and drummer Will Sweeny.
The X Factor and One Direction
In 2010, Styles auditioned for the seventh series of The X Factor with "Isn't She Lovely" and received positive comments from two of the three judges present at his audition, with Louis Walsh having doubts on whether he was ready to progress in the competition. At bootcamp, he sang "Stop Crying Your Heart Out" before being rejected and put into One Direction.

Personal life
Styles currently resides with bandmate Louis Tomlinson in North London. Styles is often referred to has Larry Stylinson, due to the his friendship with Tomlinson. Styles briefly dated Caroline Flack, which caused wide spread media controversy over their fifteen year age gap.
