Capitalism cannot function without hierarchy and oppression, and as such is diametrically opposed to anarchism. This entry is an attempt to hijack and coopt something struggled for, fought for, and sometimes died for by generations of comrades for the benefit of a few right wingers, and is therefore patently offensive to the point of being nearly obscene. This entry is so far off base that it calls into question the validity of every other entry on wikipedia and destroys its utility as a serious point of reference.
