Personal life

She grew up in the Nashville suburb of Franklin, Tennessee to Greg Hargest and Robin Hargest. She is a Methodist Christian.

Career

When she was six years old, she landed a part in A Country Christmas at the theme park Opryland USA.

She co-wrote "Feels Like Falling" from Jump5's 2004 release Dreaming in Color and several for their holiday release, Rock This Christmas. She also cowrote three songs on the Jump5 album Hello & Goodbye. Hargest started a pop/rock brother-sister duo named Guest with brother Brandon Hargest in early 2008. Their debut release Perfect EP was made available on iTunes, Amazon and all digital music sites. Their full-length record titled Change of Scenery came out in December 2010.
