Nazir Ahmed Marri was a school teacher who was shot and killed by unidentified assailants in Quetta, Balochistan. Its has been learned by reliable sources that he was targeted because he was to close to Baloch nationalist leader Nawab Khair Bakhsh Marri.
Target kill
On 19th of June, 2012, Mr Marri was shot several time by the target killers on Arbab Karim Khan Road in the provincial capital Balochistan. He was taken to Civil Hospital Quetta but pronounced death. He was a a senior teacher at Killi ShaiKhan High School in Quetta.
Abductation
Nazir Ahmed Marri was abducted several times in past years by Pakistani security agencies. He claimed, he was under torture in capative. In last 10 years, large number of Baloch teachers, journalists and intellectual are in target killed or abducted kill and dumped or abducted several years. Baloch people blame intellgence agencies for dirty tricks. Baloch nationalist leader Mehran Baluch leader alleged intelligence agenices of Pakistan killed Mr Marri because he was very close friend of his father, Khair Bakhsh Marri and he was forcibly abducted three times before by intelligences services. Most of the Baloch teachers are involved helping the insurgences in ongoing Balochistan conflict which are easy for state security forces to pick up for get information for insurgences hideout, torture, killed and dump.
