- One of the three somatotypes, or animal body-types, that contains high body fat, and that gains weight easily (the other two are ectomorphic and mesomorphic)
The body of the extreme endomorph is round and soft. The physique presents the illusion that much of the mass has been concentrated in the abdominal area. This may or may not be true. The arms and legs of the extreme endomorph are short in length and taper. This may give the appearance of stalkiness. The hands and feet of the endomorph are comparatively small, and the upper arms and thighs are often more developed than the lower parts of the arms or legs. The body has a high waist.

Variations of an Endomorph
Endo-mesomorphs
Have the muscular strong looking bodies of a mesomorph, but the tendency to carry extra body fat like the endomorph. They will easily put on body fat, but find it very easy to build muscle. They are generally attracted to sports that require strength and a bit more endurance.
Endo-ectomorphs
Generally have the smaller, narrow frame of the Ectomorph, with the softness and ability to store fat of the Endomorph.
