Image Tagging Image:Me-southpark.JPG

Warning sign
This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Me-southpark.JPG. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Misplaced Pages (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, consider reading fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Misplaced Pages:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Misplaced Pages:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, consider checking that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Image legality questions page. Thank you. Shyam 21:03, 5 April 2006 (UTC)

Poll

Hi, take a look at the following poll and vote if you want. Bitola 13:11, 6 April 2006 (UTC)

Macedonian alphabet

Great work! It was in Macedonian language, I split it out but hadn't got round to fixing it yet, I've been kind of busy... Thanks :) If you know more about Macedonian language you might want to look at that article, or at least keep it on your watchlist. - FrancisTyers 10:29, 21 April 2006 (UTC)

Daniel, if you could perhaps tell me reasons you would like to have this information (term paper, newspaper article etc) and what exactly you would like to have, maybe I could assist. email to uk2316885@yahoo.com

Aum's website is www.aleph.to - not much anything in general and only few English pages. Can you read Japanese?

Precise answers from ExitControl (see also a message left in 'discussion' per your username):

Does anyone know of any websites which deal with the beliefs of the group, prefferably non-biased? What was their website, I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to find an archived version. And, where is most of the doctrine section sourced from?

1) No, I wouldn't honestly recommend any site as unbiased. Actually, reasons for that that their doctrine is enormously, massively huge and systematic and mere studying it scientifically is a very challenging task. But what's more interesting, since the doctrine is supposed to be studies in a certain sequence and some actual practice of it is a must (since the doctrine, obviously influence the thinking of a person) and understanding differs after this 'practice' stage and since the stage of practice takes some time - i do not honestly believe anyone who didn't spend much time serisouly learning and practicing is qualified to explain anything. But this might be a bald statement, I know. Consider this: while many of the researchers continue talking about America the Evil etc (and other similar political stuff), it plays a rather minor role both percentage-wise (in Aum publications) and in actual thinking of Aum followers. Attributing this to religious doctrine is something quote strange: I thought Aum members weren't supposed to 'believe' or 'have faith in' America not playing fairly with Japan or something.

Well, in the article the book is referenced, Aum to Watakushi. I believe it is written by someone who actually WAS aum follower but later left. This Wiki article is more or less not that much biased as it was written by me, but it is very basic and incomplete which is understandable IMO. I think you could view it as basics. Again, it depend to what you want. If you want some materials related to this or that specific topic, I can look for you.

There are also couple of books by Asahara in English. And I remember that some group that split from Aum has made several websites in around 1999 that represented their viewpoints - there I remember seeing a really strange mix of publications - they've put Protocols of Zion Elders together with sci-fi theories and some basic Asahara's lectures...

2) Probably I could find some information pulled from Aum websites that were later closed down. Tell me what topics interest you the most so I could figure if anything can be done.

3) Most of the 'doctrine' section is sourced from by brain directly. - ExitControl
