Republic Polytechnic (Chinese: 共和理工学院) is the fifth and newest polytechnic to be set up in Singapore and utilises the problem-based learning (PBL) approach. The polytechnic currently has 5 schools and 5 centres, that offer diplomas in Information Technology, Engineering, Science and New Media, and an enrollment of over 4000 students. The School for Sports, Health and Leisure (SHL) was recently set up to cater to students from the Singapore Sports School (SSS) and an expected increase in the need for trained staff in the recreation industry following the Singapore Government's decision to build 2 Integrated Resorts (IRs). The World Toilet College also utilizes the school's premises to conduct lessons on waste management.

The polytechnic's campus was located at Tanglin Road but have since moved to Woodlands. Republic Polytechnic have marked it last day in their campus in Tanglin on 3rd of March and have officially moved to the new campus situated in Woodlands. 3rd of March also marked the last day for their first batch of students who are graduating in year 2006.
