Hello Jimfbleak. I wanted to thank you for your comments and review of the History of Mars observation article. I appreciated the feedback and help getting the article promoted to FA status. Regards, RJH (talk) 18:09, 30 July 2012 (UTC)
ricardo liborio, accomplishments
Hi Jim,
When you have the time, would you please review my article so far... and also tell me how to create a bulleted list for the "other accomplishments" section?
Thanks,

Hi Jim,
Thank you for taking a look. I will remove the Broward County fact and alphabetize the names.
Best,

Jim, saw you'd blocked this user (quite correctly) for spamming/bad username. They've agreed to change username and cut out the COI editing, I'm inclined to give them another shot. Any objections? Seraphimblade 06:24, 31 July 2012 (UTC)
liborio picture and sidebar
Hi Jim,
Thanks again for all of your help. I have another question: How can I create a sidebar with Liborio's picture and facts like where/when born, nationality, where he resides, sport, etc? Also, where should I get his pic? From his official facebook fanpage or from the ATT website?
Thanks,
Ryan RyanMarkish (talk) 12:10, 31 July 2012 (UTC)
BOBBY TANGO GIBB
hi jim. I am trying to create a page and it is apparently being challenged for deletion or deleted by you. I also enterd the info twice after a correction and received a message about it. I entered the info as it is pertinent info about myself. I have never entered info on here before and need assistance in making corrections. Many of my colleagues have entered info concerning themselves and have had no issues. My name is Bobby Tango Gibb, and I am a former member of the rock band Bang Tango. But I am trying to create a page as no one knows the info entered better than me or my band mates. .Any suggestion would be great as how to step by step enter the correct information and publish it. Thank you! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bobbytangogibb (talk • contribs) 17:07, 31 July 2012 (UTC)
Previously deleted page back up
Dear Jim,
It looks like a page that you previously deleted "Universal Life Church World Headquarters" has been re-posted. You deleted it due: to G11: Unambiguous advertising or promotion: A7: Article about a company, corporation, organization, or group, which does not indicate the importance or significance of the subject) The same user has created this page as a promotional tool and clearly violates Misplaced Pages's core content policies of Neutral Point of View as he sites mostly his own site. Please review this page "http://en.wikipedia.org/Universal_Life_Church" as he is misrepresenting the actual Universal Life Church located in Modesto, California.

Thanks Jim, looking forward to your reply. Bobby — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bobbytangogibb (talk • contribs) 01:13, 1 August 2012 (UTC)
Nosotros, fast deletion
I'm surprised that you did not contact me first before "fast" deleting this page. Nosotros is a very important organization which helps promote Latinos in art and drama who might not otherwise be able to, among many other things. I did not really have time to develop the article quickly. Should I have started it as a stub? There are many stub articles about things that are not so important or known. Many chemical compounds and drugs are listed here yet most are not important. What I'm saying is I don't understand the guidelines, but I can learn them and re-post the page. I do not understand AT ALL why fast deletion was needed. Maybe the page is not important to you, but it is certainly more important to many Latinos. It is my opinion that Nosotros is as important as any NGO or Non-profit or charity. If the United Way or Salvation Army or NAACP can be on Misplaced Pages, there is no reason that Nosotros can not. If you don't have a personal issue with this page, then please let me know what I can do to post it properly. C

My reply to your reasons for quick deletion of NOSOTROS.:
Your reply did not explain the reason for QUICK DELETION vs. informing me first. You could've just as easily requested some fix before a given time period. In my opinion there was no need to delete the article. People like yourself could help people like me and TELL ME about it first and at least give me a time period to add these items. In my opinion it doesn't explain the reasoning for QUICK deletion. I would've happily added such items as you say above in time. This is a great organization supported and founded by Mr. Montelbon and supported by Edward James Olmos. I don't see how such technicalities as you mentioned contribute to the greater good which Misplaced Pages is supposed to promote. There was no reason for QUICK DELETION of this article. Let it stay dead, however. Be content you've done your job well, I suppose. I'm simply trying to help, but situations like this make trying to edit wikipedia tiring and just one more stuggle of ego in the world. Cheers.
Very Disappointed. You're absolutely right, but how it makes things better I don't understand. Czechrite — Preceding unsigned comment added by Czechrite (talk • contribs) 19:33, 1 August 2012 (UTC)

BOBBY TANGO GIBB Thanks for the reply and your input Jim. I understand the verifiable source criteria, and before deletion, I feel it would be better policy in the future to notify the creator and ask for more verification info rather than just deleting. I wasn't offended . I actually laughed at the deletion as it seems I am not seasoned enough to verify myself. Kinda like when your drivers license expires, that you are no longer yourself until you re-new yourself. Or someone verifies that I am me. Otherwise i don't exist unless a document states it. Kind of ludicrous how the system works in general. I am living, yes, and am I listed as a former member of the band....yes. There are articles, websites , pics, and band members to back my claim. I couldn't have been more neutral, factual, short and sweet, and to the point. I will however take your advice to heart and re-create a page or short bio, even if have a third party compose it. And if a red flag pops up, i would appreciate it please if you contact myself or the contributor ,before deletion ,so proper corrections can be made . Thank you for the advice . Judy Carter Deletion
I'm confused on why my page 'Judy Carter' was deleted. She is a real person. A celebrity. And I was in the process of getting reliable sources. I had until the 11th before it was suppose to be deleted. I thin the deletion was premature. I'm also not sure why it can be deleted by a so-called-admin. Please let me know. I would like to get my page back.
Main page appearance: Song Thrush
This is a note to let the main editors of Song Thrush know that the article will be appearing as today's featured article on August 4, 2012. You can view the TFA blurb at Misplaced Pages:Today's featured article/August 4, 2012. If you prefer that the article appear as TFA on a different date, or not at all, please ask featured article director Raul654 (talk · contribs) or his delegate Dabomb87 (talk · contribs), or start a discussion at Misplaced Pages talk:Today's featured article/requests. If the previous blurb needs tweaking, you might change it—following the instructions at Misplaced Pages:Today's featured article/requests/instructions. If this article needs any attention or maintenance, it would be preferable if that could be done before its appearance on the Main Page. The blurb as it stands now is below:
The Song Thrush is a thrush that breeds across much of Eurasia. It has brown upperparts and black-spotted cream or buff underparts and has three recognised subspecies. Its distinctive song, which has repeated musical phrases, has frequently been referred to in poetry. The Song Thrush breeds in forests, gardens and parks, and is partially migratory with many birds wintering in southern Europe, North Africa and the Middle East; it has also been introduced into New Zealand and Australia. Although it is not threatened globally, there have been serious population declines in parts of Europe, possibly due to changes in farming practices. The Song Thrush builds a neat mud-lined cup nest in a bush or tree and lays four or five dark-spotted blue eggs. It is omnivorous and has the habit of using a favourite stone as an "anvil" on which to smash snails. Like other perching birds (passerines), it is affected by external and internal parasites and is vulnerable to predation by cats and birds of prey. (more...)
