I'm a male Brit who also lives and speaks in Italian, albeit with an English accent.
I worked for years on the transparent reporting of peer-review articles in the fields of medicine and epidemiology. Previously, I helped edit articles on molecular biology, biochemistry and other laboratory research.
Nowadays, I chill on Misplaced Pages, indulging my thoroughly unmusical love of music and runyonese, hanging out slothfully in a quiet sort of way (though by no means do I eat shίt), leaning gently towards eventualism, and furthermore I wish to say I am still working on it...
My user name, MISTYMORN, was prompted by a love of Chinese ink wash painting.

Frederick Keel, composer of the song Trade Winds and a 'creative scholar' of early music. - Work back in progress, thanks to Tim riley. I suspect that, apart from obituaries, this may be the only available third-party article focusing on Keel.
Ward Marston, the doyen of historic record restoration surely deserves at least a stub of his own! - a slow sandbox job... out of respect for a living person.
Did you know that Historic Masters is a vinyl record label which continues to issue rare 78 rpm opera discs on a regular basis? - DYK, 2 October 2011
