December 8

Hi, Gabe. I have been helping out a bit at WP:TFAR and in the course of discussions there we noticed that there's nothing suitable that's already at FA level that we could put on the main page on December 8. I was hoping you would know of an article related to John Lennon or one of his songs or albums that might be close enough that it could be taken through the FA process in time for a main page appearance on that anniversary? Just a thought. -- Dianna (talk) 23:12, 28 August 2012 (UTC)

Hi Dianna, I'm sure I can find something suitable, thanks for asking! I'll look into it when I have the time and get back to you. Cheers! ~ GabeMc 23:18, 28 August 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for considering it. I know you're busy. -- Dianna (talk) 00:22, 29 August 2012 (UTC)

Beatles note

Hate to nitpick, but I'm pretty sure you mean "...do not in any way affect Misplaced Pages's freedom..." Don't think this is a case of "our foreign policy effects the situation". Cheers, Feezo (send a signal | watch the sky) 06:10, 30 August 2012 (UTC)

Beatles mediation

I'm afraid I fell behind on the discussion as it became drawn out and haven't caught up. What are the current issues holding up the poll? I thought the poll would have been conducted by now. Piriczki (talk) 14:43, 2 September 2012 (UTC)
