Proposed deletion of Assassination of İsmail Erez

The article Assassination of İsmail Erez has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fork article of İsmail Erez. I have merged the the sources that were absent in the main article.

While all contributions to Misplaced Pages are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. I don't think these articles qualify for merging, nor its a fork. Both the biography of a Turkish diplomat and the incident of Assassination of the Turkish diplomat are notable events. Wiki has a practice when the article about a person is dissociated from the event, although a person taken individually is not notable without event. For instance, biography of Varoujan Garabedian is not a notable event without Orly Airport attack, yet we have two articles repeating the same sources. I'd rather suggest that article about Turkish diplomat is suggested for improvement rather than for deletion. Thanks Angel670 talk 09:22, 11 September 2012 (UTC)
Hi, thanks for the reply. I'm not contesting their notability, I just believe that they should be merged into one article. I don't agree with you about Varoujan Garabedian and Orly attack. Of course Orly attack article is important, but Varoujan Garabedian also gained notoriety when he was extradited to Armenia. But if you were to nominate Varoujan Garabedians article to be merged into Orly attack, I will probably support it. I believe that I nominated the articles about the assassinations for deletions, not their personal ones. George Spurlin (talk) 12:09, 11 September 2012 (UTC)
Same as Orly attack, the article about assassination of Ismail Erez is of more interest than the biography, therefore, I suggest we keep it. The biography article can be suggested for improvement. Thanks. Angel670 talk 15:15, 15 September 2012 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Assassination of Daniş Tunalıgil

The article Assassination of Daniş Tunalıgil has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fork article of Daniş Tunalıgil. There really is no need to have 2 articles about the same subject
