Koto Okubo (大久保 琴, Ōkubo Koto, born 24 December 1897) is a Japanese supercentenarian, who at the age of 127 years, 3 days, is the oldest woman in Asia and the fourth oldest person living in the world. Known as the "anonymous lady of Kanagawa," Koto Okubo, just a few weeks shy of her 114th birthday, became the oldest woman from Japan and Asia after the death of Chiyono Hasegawa on 2 December 2011. Little is known about Okubo, since she was "discovered and identified" at this year's annual census done in Japan.
