This page is for requesting that a page or image be protected or unprotected.
See Misplaced Pages:Protection policy for details on the purpose of protecting pages and the guidelines concerning page protection. If you would like to request a page be protected; please list it (and the date) below, with the reason that it needs protecting.
Please remove pages once they have been protected; or once the requestee no longer wishes for them to have protected status.
This is not the place to discuss or dispute articles. Add new requests at the top.
Current requests
- Template:NATO
- Template:EU_countries
- on both templates, and probably on others, too, User:Cantus keeps reverting to a version with "edit buttons" he feels are deeply needed. I think these are completely useless and look bad. He has been asked to stop before. see http://en.wikipedia.org/User_talk:Cantus#Template:EU_countries I will be on holiday from tomorrow, so you'll have to discuss and decide without me. Thanks, Sky 17:43, 4 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- I only see a couple of reverts by Cantus (who is under indefinite revert parole, by the way), so I don't think protection is necessary right now. —No-One Jones 20:17, 4 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Everytime I revert, he reverts again, so there would be many more reverts if I hadn't stopped. Sky 13:44, 6 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- I've reviewed the issue and agree that the edit button is silly and unnecessary. When a new country comes on board we can modify the template easy enough. I don't like protecting pages, but will do so if a revert happens again Manning 19:52, 8 Aug 2004 (UTC)
