Niaz Zaman is a Bangladeshi academic and writer. She is a Supernumerary Professor at the University of Dhaka. She is specialized in American literature. She also served as a consulting editor, Arts and Humanities for Banglapedia and a editor of the Bangladesh Journal of American Studies. She also runs a publishing house: writers.ink to publish creative writing in English and English translation as well as writings on literature and language. Zaman was affiliated to the Bangladesh Embassy in Washington D.C. as Educational Attache from 1981 to 1983.
