Dave Armstrong (1958 - ) is a Catholic apologist and author convert to Roman Catholicism from evangelical Protestantism in 1991.

Biography

Born on July 30, 1958 in Detroit, Michigan. Raised as a Methodist, Armstrong converted to non-denominational evangelicalism in 1977. During the 1980s, informally he studied Christian apologetics and basic theology. Received into the Catholic Church on February 8, 1991 by Father John Hardon, SJ. Married to Judy Kozora on October 6, 1984 with four children: three boys and a girl.

Education

Dave Armstrong is Bachelor of Arts, Sociology (cum laude) from Wayne State University, Detroit, 1982 and studies general Christian and Catholic apologetics since 1981 but without formal training in theology). Beside this, Armstrong is a full-time author, apologist, evangelist, and free-lance writer since December 2001.
