My mistake

It looks like I made a regrettable mistake by casting my oppose vote while mistakenly ascribing to the candidate the views that belonged to a totally different person. I can't understand how I got the wrong name stuck in my head. Please see for the background. As my vote affected your vote cast in the immediate aftermath, I would like to prompt you to this development. I already apologized to the candidate but I am also sorry to have unintentionally misled you. Please reconsider the candidate completely disregarding the issue I have mistakenly brought up. Question

Hello Alkivar, I have a question. Over six months ago, you were the only opposer in my second RfA. Your rationale was that after reading all 28 opposers in the first RfA, you didn't believe all the concerns listed there had been addressed, that there was no way you could support the second one, and ended it with "maybe next year". The changes reverse the decision made by the Project in April 2006. The changes were based on agreement by only two people, and by a discussion that took place outside the Beer Project. Narveson Prison Citadel – for which I could find no trace of its existence. I did a Google search, and searched Amazon.com and Bookfinder.com, but nothing. For the above 14 images, since it was crystal clear that Alkivar was claiming them as his own, I updated the image's information to indicate this, and removed the tags placed by Rohnhjones. This does not pertain to the remainder of the images below. Since a username must refer to a person and not an organisation, we cannot be sure that User:Alkivar owns http://www.alkivar.com. Pleanty of users have come up with user names as they are a "fan" of a site/organiosation, and have no real contact with it. The di-no-permission tag nicely states "It is sourced to someone other than the uploader, or to an external site which the uploader claims to represent or own" and as every picture wanted the website cited then the di-no-permission tag was the correct one to use as the uploader was claiming to represent the web site.  Ronhjones  00:05, 22 May 2011 (UTC)

Have you actually looked at the website? It's clearly a one-person operation. Compare it to an earlier version of Alkivar's user page, and AGF would lea us to believe that this is the same person. In order to reach the conclusions you have reached, you have to assume that the worst possible option of numerous available ones is true, and that the obvious one (that these images were uploaded by the photographer) is not. I fail to see the harm in these images or how they do not fulfill Misplaced Pages's requirements. I respectfully suggest that you re-evaluate your actions.
