Dear Misplaced Pages (Hu12), We found our website had been added to several Misplaced Pages listing for legislators around the country without our knowledge nor permission.
We were unaware that Misplaced Pages even had individual pages for legislators. And when we looked we found many pages which had been created to tout the individual senator or congressman in there bid for re-election.
The link we added to their individual pages is only a link back to our site which lists the bills that have actually sponsored by each legislator.
We don't charge for our service, and we certainly don't promote any legislator either positively or negatively, we only provide information.
I would like you to please reinstate our ability to edit pages and allow us to include our information in the descriptions of our elected officials.
We meant no disrespect to you or our legislators.
Currently we are doing this by hand and it takes quite a bit of effort to modify each page individually. We assume that you will agree with us and let us out of the Misplaced Pages penalty box, and if so, then I would like to ask "if there is an easier way to add our link to every senators page?"

- Unfortunately the External links policy on Advertising and conflicts of interest states you should avoid linking to a website that you own, maintain or represent. Clearly there is a conflict of interest in this case. WP:NOPAY also applies. The site seems to merely aggregate existing public information and does not provide a unique resource beyond what is already contained in most articles. Misplaced Pages is not a repository for links. Equally Misplaced Pages is not a place to to promote a site. We are aware the internet is full of good material, but Misplaced Pages is not a directory to that content. You're here to improve Misplaced Pages -- not just to funnel readers off Misplaced Pages and onto your site, right?--Hu12 (talk) 04:29, 8 November 2012 (UTC)
Ok. I understand. Won't happen again.Legination (talk) 04:47, 8 November 2012 (UTC)
