The 2012 Delhi rape case refers to an incident when a 23-year old student was gang raped by six men in a bus in the capital city of Delhi. The incident sparked widespread protests and dissent across the country. The six men accused were arrested in Delhi and Bihar. On December 20, 2012, it was announced that the victims condition was deteriorating.
