Richard Daniel Roman (born 16 March 1965, Kings Cross, London) is a British songwriter, record producer and occasional ghostwriter best known for his work with pop musicians.
Biography
Roman was born in 1965 to Spanish parents. In the early 1980s he began 'to learn his craft at London's Cockpit Theatre Arts and Music Workshop alongside other fledgling songwriter/producers such as Guy Chambers. In 1992, Roman moved to Spain where, after turning down an offer to work f'or Ministry of Sound, he established himself as a major Latin pop songwriter and producer, working with some of the biggest names in entertainment including Lady Gaga ("Just Dance", "Bad Romance" and "Alejandro"), Adele ("Someone Like You"), Paulina Rubio ("Vive El Verano"), Xuxa, Lorena Rojas, Shaila Durcal, Cristian Castro,, Jerry Rivera, Rebeca and others.
