History
- In December 2010, during the closing gala, the Audi Football Night, the winners of the Globe Soccer Awards were announced: the Portuguese Jorge Mendes won the award as Best Agent, the Spaniard Miguel Ángel Gil {esp} received the award as Best Director, and the Italian Adriano Galliani received a Special Career Award.
- In December 2011, Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo wins Footballer of the Year award and Greatest Media Attraction of the year at 2011 Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai. The award for his extraordinary career was given to Alex Del Piero. FC Barcelona as Club of the Year, Jorge Mendes as Best agent and Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa (F.C. Porto) as Best Director were the other 2011 Globe Soccer Awards winners.
- In December 2012, ten awards will be awarded in the categories:

- Best team of the year
- Best agent of the year
- Agent’s career
- Best player of the year
- Player’s career
- Best coach of the year
- Best goal scorer of the UAE
- Greatest media attraction in football
- Director’s Career
Best player of the year
- 2011 – Cristiano Ronaldo, Real Madrid
