Radamel Falcao wins Globe Soccer's 2012 Best Player of the Year Award

The Globe Soccer Awards is an annual association football award given by Globe Soccer to the best player of year in the world.

History

  • In December 2010, during the closing gala the Audi Football Night the winners of the Globe Soccer Awards were announced:
  1. Best agent of the year – Portugal Jorge Mendes
  2. Best director of the year – Spain Miguel Ángel Gil Marín (Atlético Madrid)
  3. Special Career Award – Italy Adriano Galliani (AC Milan)
  • In December 2011, the awards were to:
  1. Best team of the year – Spain FC Barcelona
  2. Best player of the year – Portugal Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid)
  3. Player’s career – Italy Alex Del Piero (Juventus)
  4. Best agent of the year – Portugal Jorge Mendes
  5. Greatest media attraction in football – Portugal Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid)
  6. Director’s Career – Portugal Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa (F.C. Porto)
  • In December 2012, ten awards were awarded in Dubai in the categories:
  1. Best team of the year – Spain Club Atlético de Madrid
  2. Best player of the year – Colombia Radamel Falcao (Atlético Madrid)
