Araksi Çetinyan (Template:Lang-hy) was the winner of the first beauty pageant competition held in the newly founded Turkish Republic. She was an "Armenian Turk".
Turkey's first beauty pageant was held by İpek Film on May 3rd, 1925 or 1926 at Istanbul’s famed Beyoğlu Melek Cinema Hall (present-day Emek Cinema Hall). It was the first beauty pageant ever to be held in Turkey. Araksi Çetinyan won the competition which made her the first beauty pageant winner in Turkey's history.
In 1929 she participated in the first Miss Turkey competition and finished in 3rd place after Feriha Tevfik and Semine Nihat.
