The Open IPTV Forum (OIPF) is a non-profitconsortium and standards organization focused on defining and publishing open and free standards for end-to-end IPTV services. The consortium was initially driven by Sony and Ericsson, and formed in March 2007 by a number of established players in the IPTV and related industries. It was later joined by several others.
