Eyes Open is Snow Patrol's fourth album. It was released on May 1, 2006 internationally, and will be followed by a release in the United States on May 9 (see 2006 in music) . This album was released in Ireland on Friday, April 28th. The band appeared on the Late Late Show and signed copies of the album in Virgin Megastores in Dundrum Town Centre. The first UK single, "You're All I Have", was released on April 24. The first US single will be "Hands Open."

The "Special Edition" of the album features a bonus DVD featuring the video for "You're All I Have," the making-of the video, as well behind-the-scenes footage of the band.

Copies of the album leaked onto the Internet in mid-April on various torrent and P2P sites.

The album sold 36,191 units in it's debut week throughout the U.S., substantially improving from their first week sales of Final Straw.
