I've been here for nearly 7 months, and altho I have had some compliments on some of my skills, you are the first to actually say you respect me. That felt pretty damn good, especially after all the disrespect everyone involved got at the Lake Michigan-Huron fiasco this week. Thanks a bunch! Gtwfan52 (talk) 10:07, 16 September 2012 (UTC)

DB1
Why do you keep undoing my edits? I probably know more about DB1s than anyone in North America but that's not good enough? I have literally talked to factory racers and employees but that's not good enough? There is no reputable information on these bikes and I'm trying to put all my knowledge out there for everyone. If I wrote a book and reference it that's ok? I know more about DB1s than all the books out there and I'm trying to help. Am I stating anything false or made up? No, just facts. How can I reference facts when I'm the source of the information?
Owning 3 different models of the DB1 is a red flag for making things up? Co-creating the USA Club Newsletter in the early 1990s doesn't give me voice?
That's not even a DB1 in the main picture. It's a custom bike in Australia that has a different engine in it. It's not in a book so I guess I can't prove it.

- I get your frustration, I really do, but "I know more than anyone else" is classic original research and is simply not allowed. --Biker Biker (talk) 17:41, 13 February 2013 (UTC)
So what can a person do when he wants to share impossibly rare information? If an ex-Bimota employee wrote about Bimota it would get removed just because it's original information? That's really messed up. But if someone references something wrong it book it's ok. Wow.

- You have the whole internet to share the information on. Misplaced Pages isn't the only place to publish your experience and observations. What's messed up about that? --Dennis Bratland (talk) 18:58, 13 February 2013 (UTC)

I got a warning
Hi,
I have read Misplaced Pages policies and what I understood from that is anyone can add links to the sites which are informative for other readers. I have just added the most relevant and informative sites. Like on the page of Nokia Lumia 620, I have added a page which have detailed specs and pictures of Lumia 620. Or I have added a review of Sony Xperia J on xperia j page on wikipedia.
Kindly tell me it you call it "spam"?
Moreover, my website have latest news and reviews on mobiles. Is there any possibility that I can put my website information on wikipedia? My purpose is not get rankings in search engines, as I know that wikipedia is a nofollow site. But since I provide some useful informatio, so I guess many users will get help from my website.
Kindly guide me in this matter. If possible, than reply me at admin@mobilefun.pk
Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Asifsms5 (talk • contribs) 14:17, 14 February 2013 (UTC)
- That is not just spam, it is the worst kind of spam because it involves a conflict of interest (WP:COI). Kindly desist from adding your site to Misplaced Pages or it will be blacklisted and your account will be blocked. --Biker Biker (talk) 15:31, 14 February 2013 (UTC)
Re Lambretta SX 200
Dear Biker-Biker
Before you start getting carried away with your censorship, you should at least arm yourself with basic knowledge of the subject matter before your execute the task. The only Dealer Special that was used on the road and track by the company Supertune was the Supertune SX 200 Rallye SE (XLU 3G) and not the Rallye as stated, which was a publicity stunt by the then owner of Supertune, Malcolm Clarkson in 1966.
XLU 3 G, Lambretta SX 200 Rallye SE was the only works/dealer special that Supertune ever produced and appeared in Scooter and Lightweights magazine which was published January 1969. You can find this edition easily on the internet.
By virtue of the fact that Supertune was mentioned in the article, I therefore do not consider spamming as placing a link to the company that produced the Rallye SE in November 1968 and still exists to this day. I am a Lambretta enthusiast since the 1980's and an active member of LCGB and have no commercial interest in Supertune, Arthur Francis (now AF Rayspeed) or the Wildcat Lambretta brand name as used by Rafferty Newman.
There are many Supertune Lambrettas, which appear on Paulo's website www.racinglambrettas.com, but these scooters are all replicas (?) and only one original Supertune Rallye(SE) was made and still exists XLU 3G. This can also be easily confirmed through a little internet research.
I therefore hope that you will consider a rollback, as this is the second time I have had to clarify this issue.
Sincerely,
David
