André Gilles Célestin Lawalrée (1921 - 2005) was a Belgian botanist, pteridologist and explorer. He was head of the Department of Vascular Plants (Spermatophyta-Pteridophyta) in the National Botanic Garden of Belgium. He made numerous expeditions to Africa, especially the former Belgian Congo (now Democratic Republic of the Congo).
