On what basis, Donnchadh? I don't know what (if any) fluency in Irish you have, but male surnames do not aspirate (take a "h"). That's elementary. --Damac 13:48, 3 July 2006 (UTC)

Alternative name?
I know that Dáithí Ó Conaill was occasionally known as "David O'Connell", but could he also be the "David McConnell" who stood in Belfast East for SF in 1964? Warofdreams talk 12:47, 7 April 2011 (UTC)
