This COTW is organized by WikiProject U.S. Presidents. Every week, three different articles from a pool assessed with Version 1.0 standards are chosen. Some articles (usually B-Class) need to be expanded with more information. Others (usually A-Class) need to be shortened using summary style (try not to delete good content, just move it). A few (FAs and a few A-Class) just need to be refined and generally tweaked, often before a featured article candidacy. The articles are chosen using the comments made during the assessment. There is no formal bureaucratic way of choosing them, there's no point templating their talk pages over it, and they are not done by week but by need. For instance, an article being evaluated for featured status may stay under the "refine" slot as long as it is a candidate. The color scheme is meant to generally illustrate the quality of the article, but it's not binding. It does not change when the articles change. |
