You are welcome to continue editing without logging in, but you may want to consider creating an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits such as the ability to create articles. For a full outline and explanation of the benefits that come with creating an account, please see this page. If you edit without a username, your IP address (198.211.103.38) is used to identify you instead.
In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. If you need help, check out Misplaced Pages:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}}
before the question on this page. Again, welcome! — Cirt (talk) 01:21, 8 March 2013 (UTC)

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for disruptive editing (changing sock tags at multiple user pages). Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Bbb23 (talk) 00:17, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
Unblock request
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).198.211.103.38 (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
None of my edits were disruptive. Here is the background to them all. I came across a disturbing piece of censorship on the user page of a suspiciously blocked user which I corrected.Looking at other supposed socks of DeFacto and digging deeper, I also found a bad block tag on another recently blocked user, so I corrected that too. Tracing back through the other socks and SPIs I found that there was no evidence to support "confirmed" on all of those users that I checked. So my edits were all constructive, to attempt to correctly apply the requirements of WP:SPI/AI. Or in what way am I mistaken? Shouldn't these things be done properly and seen to be whiter than white? 198.211.103.38 (talk) 00:31, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Edits made by by a non-admin editor, whether as an IP or via an account, which appear to usurp the responsibilities of an admin are by definition disruptive.--Anthony Bradbury 11:37, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Cover up?
There's clearly something wrong going on here, my comments to an admin have been inexplicably erased by another editor. What have I stumbled into here - please explain. 198.211.103.38 (talk) 00:35, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
