Guildford Youth Theatre
Please could you review the deletion of this page. I own the copyright to the text on the page, it is not self-promotion but information about a local theatre and service in Guildford. I am emailing wiki to review the content and confirm that I own the copyright and am happy to share this. Many thanks. PollyGTS (talk) 17:10, 28 January 2013 (UTC)
Thanks for your help with this. I understand the error and hopefully won't make the same mistake again.Pollyannabeth (talk) 10:18, 29 January 2013 (UTC)

Hi.. im really sad that you hav deleted my page
National and University Library "St. Kliment of Ohrid"
I don't think that this page National and University Library "St. Kliment of Ohrid", should be deleted because of ]. May be editors should remove some non encyclopedic paragraphs, rewording something, adding internal wiki links, but not complete removal of article. Thanks --Brest (talk) 06:13, 30 January 2013 (UTC)
- Please don't completely remove the article, I know the person who try to edit the article. He work in Library "St. Kliment of Ohrid", and he is new in wikipedia. I believe that if you tell him what to correct he will do it, I can't see that you tell him something. And, I visit the web site of the library http://www.nubsk.edu.mk/ and I can't find that text is copyrighted. Please do not bite the newcomers. --Brest (talk) 07:16, 30 January 2013 (UTC)

Hi - hope you are well ?
The article submission on Tea drinking has been declined. Reason given is that the subject of this article already exists in Misplaced Pages. Being told to improve it at Indian tea culture instead. Quite sad. Is that the only option left ? Also - have a brand history related article coming up. Can I put it up in the sandbox and request for feedback ? Thanks and regards

Help on a talk page
Blast from the past...in 2006, you blocked User:Msoamu for vandalism. As you will see on his block log, he was recently blocked again (48 hours) for an edit war between him and myself across multiple articles. I haven't received any warnings myself, but obviously I must admit that, having been involved in the war, I can't be wholly objective. The page in question is Barelvi, which is currently protected. If you could find the time to contribute on the talk page regarding what Msoamu's issue is, it would greatly help resolve the dispute. I'm messaging you mainly because you've dealt with the individual before, and as another editor recently said when granting a third opinion, this behavior has gone on for seven years. As an editor I must have good faith, but as someone who has worked with Msoamu before I am concerned that we might witness some of the same behavior upon his return. MezzoMezzo (talk) 12:17, 10 February 2013 (UTC)
- Hmm...it went to WP:ANI where it's now at the top of the list. Another user (admin) made a proposal for a final solution. I don't want to put pressure, but the opinion of someone who has faced this issue before would help close out the case. Part of it revolves around the fact that this behavior has been ongoing since your initial block. MezzoMezzo (talk) 07:01, 24 February 2013 (UTC)
- Hey man. Things have been escalated by the three editors with which I fell into conflict (Msoamu, Shabiha and Hassanfarooqi) during the last six hours or so. I am now clearly being accused of belonging to a "terrorist organization," in addition to still constantly being ascribed to ideologies (namely Salafism and Wahhabism) which I have expressly said I don't agree with, and I fear personal/professional repercussions should my IP address ever be tied to such accusations. The timing of all these accusations really leads me to believe that this is not only coordinated among them, but specifically in reaction to my personal concerns. I would really like something done about this as soon as possible, whatever it is. I don't want to feel that I am putting myself at risk simply by logging in to Misplaced Pages. Some of the info is at WP:ANI. As a disclosure, I am also posting this appeal to other respected editors who were involved - I feel this is a time-sensitive issue and want to increase the chances of someone intervening as soon as possible. Composite image
Hi! Would you care to share your opinion about the composite/single infobox image issue here? I would really appreciate it. Thanks! --Life is like a box of chocolates (talk) 01:20, 25 February 2013 (UTC)
Creating an article that has been previously deleted
Hi there, I tried creating a page for a website I use but I was given a message that you'd deleted it in the past http://en.wikipedia.org/search/?title=Mixcloud&action=edit&redlink=1 I use this website quite a lot and it's very well known it its sector (alexa rank 3,972 global/942 UK and 194,631 likes on Facebook) I had a look at the notability of other members of this box http://en.wikipedia.org/Template:Digital_distribution_platforms and some of them have only a tiny fraction of the presence. I have found a few decent independent sources (UK media including BBC) to get started and it will give me good practice in creating articles and fixing the formatting from scratch. cheers

Hi, thanks for giving the info. someone beat me to it and added most of what I was going to write but for some reason there was a lag before the article went live. cheers
Main page appearance: Madeira Firecrest
This is a note to let the main editors of Madeira Firecrest know that the article will be appearing as today's featured article on March 18, 2013. You can view the TFA blurb at Misplaced Pages:Today's featured article/March 18, 2013. If you prefer that the article appear as TFA on a different date, or not at all, please ask featured article director Raul654 (talk · contribs) or his delegates Dabomb87 (talk · contribs), Gimmetoo (talk · contribs), and Bencherlite (talk · contribs), or start a discussion at Misplaced Pages talk:Today's featured article/requests. If the previous blurb needs tweaking, you can change it—following the instructions at Misplaced Pages:Today's featured article/requests/instructions. If this article needs any attention or maintenance, it would be preferable if that could be done before its appearance on the Main Page. The blurb as it stands now is below:
The Madeira Firecrest is a very small passerine bird that is endemic to the island of Madeira. It is a member of the kinglet family. Before it was recognised as a separate species in 2003, it was classified as a subspecies of the Common Firecrest. It differs in appearance and vocalisations from its relative, and genetic analysis suggests evolutionary separation took place roughly 4 million years ago. It is small and plump, 9–10 cm (3.5–3.9 cm) long and weighing about 5 g (0.18 oz). It has green upperparts, whitish underparts and two white wingbars, and a distinctive head pattern with a black eye stripe, short white supercilium, and a crest that is mainly orange in the male and yellow in the female. The female Madeira Firecrest builds a spherical nest from cobwebs, moss and small twigs, and she incubates the eggs and broods the chicks on her own. Both parents feed the young. This species forages for insects and other small invertebrates in tree heath, laurisilva and other woodland. It is common within its restricted range, living mainly at higher levels from 600–1,550 m (1,950–4,900 ft) in all types of forests and scrub, and is not considered to be threatened. (Full article...)

While I can't save every badly sourced article in the world, I'm disappointed that after spending ten minutes trying to find sources that show negative coverage of a company, it still gets supervoted as "unambiguous advertising". Ritchie333 12:04, 28 February 2013 (UTC)

Common Starling
Having dealt with the image caption, I felt incompetent to deal with the other issues brought up by NikkiMaria. Thank you for doing so. Did you just add "PD-US" in double curly brackets to the file? And in the case of the distribution map, I can't see what you did. I have only added distribution maps to articles when I happened to find a suitable one in Commons. Having altered the colour key on the Starling one, I might try creating a map for the article Brolga on which I am working at the moment now that I see how it can be done. Hi. I've declined your prod-BLP as I don't reckon he's around now. He captained Cardiff in 1914, and he'd have been around 20 then. I've added a ref that mentions this. Peridon (talk) 11:29, 11 March 2013 (UTC)
