Art Career
The broad public initially came across KE's art, through his involvement in the extensive visual identity of Kashmir. To KE, crafting cover art and graphic design was a logic extension of music, and the merging of these different expressions helped shape his present visual style.
Since then KE has established himself as an artist, with works embracing both drawing, painting and mixed media, and an extensive output of lithographic prints and copper etchings.
KE's art is grounded in drawing, with an often reoccurring presence of faces and figures emerging from restless and hectic pen strokes. With time, strong graphic elements, text fragments and bold color experiments have been added, challenging and developing his style.
In later years, KE have been awarded a string of prestigious art assignments, such as designing The Copenhagen Jazz Festival Poster (2008), The label of the Wibroe Vintage and a set of stamps for The Danish Postal Service (2013).
Related Film and TV:
In 2010 KE paid a visit to renowned artist Michael Kvium, as part of the Danish National Television series Artist Meetings.
In 2011 KE participated in the film- and book project Kaffeslabberas wich set out to unite artist and seniors through conversations and creative collaborations.
