Ever since its foundation, Benfica has had 44 managers, which 7 were interim and 13 held the job on more than one time. The first one was Manuel Gourlade and the current is Jorge Jesus. The manager with more years in service is Cosme Damião, who held the charge from 1908 to 1926, 18 years.
