Acharya prem suri was one of the most prominent Jain Svetambar Murtipujak Acharya of twentieth century. He belonged to the tapa gachchha sub-sect. After his death, his tradition was divided into two; led by Ram Chandra Suri and Bhuvan Bhanu Suri respectively. His tradition has the largest number of monks in shvetambara murtipujaka sect.
