Dubai Central Library is a library under construction in Al Mamzar locality of Dubai, UAE. The library is expected to contain more than 1.7 million books. The unique design of the library is inspired by the shape of a Turkish lectern. The main features of this library will be, a conference centre, exhibition spaces, children's library, bookshop on the ground floor reading halls, service areas, business library, and training halls.The basement of the library will be able to accommodate as many as 1,000 cars. The project is currently in design process, with the construction is expected to begin later this year and the library will be completed by the end of next year.
