I think due to the article size the reviewers hesitate to involve, any way I have dropped the review request at Dr. Blofeld talk page also, as he reviewed the article and give some positive development advices during FAC-4. Regards :)--Omer123hussain (talk) 14:02, 7 July 2013 (UTC)

How to make template

Do you know how to make a template, such as {{|Muhammad Iqbal}} and {{|Rabindranath Tagore}} I want to create a template for Sarojni naidu, can you help or direct me where we can learn to make a template. :)--Omer123hussain (talk) 04:39, 24 July 2013 (UTC)

Satyajit Ray

That he was the first President of FFSI is significant information. It should find a place in this article. The section on 1959 talks of his Filmography and that was not apt. If not the lead section, then where do you suggest it should go? SP 04:20, 25 July 2013 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pramanick (talkcontribs)

Well, I think it will be great if we would wait untill Vidya Balan's birthday comes on 1 January 2014 for the TFA. After all, she was the hero of Kahaani! What's your thoughts about it?----Plea$ant 1623 06:34, 29 July 2013 (UTC)

Good afternoon

Since u still appear to take part in the peer review of Chandralekha, why not do some more editing of it? Pls take a break from other projects and edit it, particularly the Casting and Filming sections? Kailash29792 (talk) 07:27, 30 July 2013 (UTC)

Re: hello

Hey, I have been good. Also, getting into some trouble. (:P) Anyway, my next aim is to take Ranbir Kapoor to a GA, and then FA! I would also want to work on Pather Panchali in the near future. --smarojit 06:46, 3 August 2013 (UTC)

It would be great if we could collaborate on the article together. If you have some of those online sources, could you mail them to me? --smarojit 11:06, 3 August 2013 (UTC)
Just nominated Ranbir Kapoor for GA. Phew! :) --smarojit 17:43, 3 August 2013 (UTC)

Help

Hey Dwai! Since, you have written so many articles. Blofeld suggested me to get your feedback for my list at its PR. That would be very helpful. Thanks.—Prashant 16:16, 5 August 2013 (UTC)

I am planning Barfi! as my next FA after Chopra filmography FLC. Would you please help me as you had worked on several Bengal topics. I can provide you some sources for its themes and allusions/inspirations. I will expand the development section from its Bonus feature of the DVD. Few articles are also in my inbox. Are you willing to work on it as i plan it to nominate it next year (I'll be offline due to my studies from 12 August).—Prashant 08:15, 6 August 2013 (UTC)

Final Analysis

I request you to do a final and thorough analysis of Chandralekha 1948, because I am deciding to close the peer review of it. Kailash29792 (talk) 05:52, 7 August 2013 (UTC)

Peer review

Hi. You're invited to participate in a peer review for the Mughal-e-Azam article at Misplaced Pages:Peer review/Mughal-e-Azam/archive1. I hope that constructive input from several people can better prepare it for FAC. It probably needs several pairs of eyes who don't know much about Indian film to comment on as much as it needs experts to comment..♦ Dr. ☠ Blofeld 21:59, 11 August 2013 (UTC)

Important sources for Mughal-e-Azam

I got some sources.

I hope they are useful.—Prashant 02:33, 12 August 2013 (UTC)

Thank

Thank you very much for the barnstar. I also thank u for taking part in the peer review that elevated Parasakthi. Kailash29792 (talk) 05:30, 12 August 2013 (UTC)

Edit warring on Bengal article to preserve tons of unsourced and previously challenged material in violation of Misplaced Pages policy

Stop icon

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Thanks for the warning. This is a correct step you have taken, you have cited a policy. Please do the same in the article talk page. Bye the way, those materials that were deleted, were those previously challenged? How much earlier? Did someone remove the tags or something?--Dwaipayan (talk) 06:22, 12 August 2013 (UTC)

Edit warring about citation formats in Serengeti National Park

Stop icon

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Your edit warring diffs:
(1) http://en.wikipedia.org/search/?title=Serengeti_National_Park&action=historysubmit&diff=568166728&oldid=566192829
(2) http://en.wikipedia.org/search/?title=Serengeti_National_Park&action=historysubmit&diff=568171002&oldid=568170114

The citation formats were changed here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/search/?title=Serengeti_National_Park&action=historysubmit&diff=566151148&oldid=564330086

That change was then reverted, 15 days ago, with article stability following the reversion:
http://en.wikipedia.org/search/?title=Serengeti_National_Park&action=historysubmit&diff=566192829&oldid=566151148

You then started an edit war as diff'd above. AfricaTanz (talk) 06:41, 12 August 2013 (UTC)

this is hardly an edit war ( yet!). I just added back the retrieval dates of the online references, which is a great thing to have for online references. A keen follower of references that you are, you should know better than I.--Dwaipayan (talk) 06:50, 12 August 2013 (UTC)
You should educate yourself about what "edit warring" entails. AfricaTanz (talk) 07:02, 12 August 2013 (UTC)
True, since I am not accustomed to it. Perhaps you can guide me, with your experience :)--Dwaipayan (talk) 07:05, 12 August 2013 (UTC)

Warning

You and several others have been edit-warring wildly on Bengal. This is unacceptable.

The Arbitration Committee has permitted administrators to impose discretionary sanctions (information on which is at Misplaced Pages:Arbitration Committee/Discretionary sanctions) on any editor who is active on pages broadly related to India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Discretionary sanctions can be used against an editor who repeatedly or seriously fails to adhere to the purpose of Misplaced Pages, satisfy any standard of behavior, or follow any normal editorial process. If you continue to misconduct yourself on pages relating to this topic, you may be placed under sanctions, which can include blocks, a revert limitation, or an article ban. The Committee's full decision can be read at the "Final decision" section of the decision page.

Please familiarise yourself with the information page at Misplaced Pages:Arbitration Committee/Discretionary sanctions, with the appropriate sections of Misplaced Pages:Arbitration Committee/Procedures, and with the case decision page before making any further edits to the pages in question. This notice is given by an uninvolved administrator and will be logged on the case decision, pursuant to the conditions of the Arbitration Committee's discretionary sanctions system.

August 2013

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Serengeti National Park. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Misplaced Pages's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Jetstreamer  20:30, 12 August 2013 (UTC)
