It was operated by the Central Railroad of New Jersey (CNJ). It became obsolete in 1967 when the Aldene Connection channeled passenger railroad traffic from the railroad's Communipaw Terminal in Jersey City to Hoboken Terminal in Hoboken, New Jersey.
